The XEPS103 Powerline Network Extender extends secure 14 and 85 mbps network connections to any electrical outlet in your home. The network extender connects to any router's Ethernet port and extends the network via Powerline. The space saving 2-in-1 design reduces clutter and uses only one power outlet when used with many Netgear routers. One plug supplies both power and network extension. The XEPS103 is a simple plug and play installation and is compatible with HomePlug 1.0 Powerline devices.

It was completely plug & play (although I had to connect the DishNetwork receiver directly into the wall outlet, instead of the powerstrip). I got the xeps103 Powerline Network Extender (or Homeplug) extender to use the ethernet/internet capabilities of our DishNetwork receiver. Plugged everything in (I have a Netgear wgr614 router) and it worked without incident.great stuff, if it were all like this.
Recommended for anyone. Both components work great. Right out of the box works fantastically. Have it working with Netgear Wireless G router and powerline 4-port switch in my living room to provide network access to my xbox360 and airport express. No problems.
